WHAT ARE?
Cannabinoids
Cannabinoids are a group of active chemical compounds found in marijuana that interact with specific cannabinoid receptors present in the central nervous system leading to altered moods, pain relief and other medical benefits. The cannabis plant has at least 111 cannabinoids with THC or tetrahydrocannabinol being described as the most common cannabinoid known for its psychoactive properties.
Examples: CBD-A, CBD, CBN, CBG. CBC
CBD-A
Short for cannabidiolic-acid; an acidic cannabinoid, the naturally occurring raw form of CBD that is produced directly in the plant.
CBD
Short for cannabidiol; a phytocannabinoid found in the cannabis; does not result in euphoria and has shown to have strong health benefits on human and animal health.
CBC
Short for cannabichromene; a phytocannabinoid found in cannabis that has little to no intoxicating effects.
Endocannabinoid
Naturally occurring cannabinoids in the human body
Phytocannabinoid

THC
Short for tetrahydrocannabinol; a phytocannabinoid found in cannabis shown to have some benefits on human and animal health, however, is responsible for intoxicating effects associated with marijuana use
Terpenes
The fragrant oils that give cannabis its aromatic diversity. ... These oils are secreted in the flower's sticky resin glands, the same ones that produce THC, CBD, and other cannabinoids. Terpenes are by no means unique to cannabis; they can be found in many other herbs, fruits, and plants as well.
Trichome
Trichomes are translucent resin glands protruding from buds and leaves of the cannabis plant. They contain a high concentration of cannabinoids and terpenes responsible for the many medical benefits of the cannabis plant. When looked under a microscope, they appear like mushroom protrusions lying on the surface of the buds, leaves and stalk with each part giving certain value to the plant. It is believed that the trichomes serve as a plant’s defense mechanism, protecting it from threats and natural predators in the environment.

Found in all Mammals. Refers to endocannabinoids, the enzymes that regulate their production and degradation, and their receptors (CB1 and CB2). These receptors are everywhere in our bodies and purpose of this system is to facilitate Homeostasis for whole body. Total Balance.
CB1 & CB2
Cannabinoid receptors found primarily in the central and peripheral nervous systems (nerves inside and outside of the brain and spinal cord).
HOW DO THEY?
Decarboxylation
Removing a carboxyl group from a chemical compound; the process used to convert the CBD-A to CBD with the same process to convert THC-A to THC. Typically done with a low temperature process.
CO2 Extraction
Method used to extract from the cannabis plant to make concentrated forms of various cannabinoids and components; CO2 gas is pressurized into a safe liquid and used to extract oils from plants with the advantage of no solvent residue.
Whole Plant or Full Spectrum Extract
